In the months of July and August 2022 two interns/ambassadors students Gayathri. M and Nagashree. N of MMM college of health sciences conducted an awareness campaign in different areas of Chennai. They met people on the street, shop owners, auto-rickshaw drivers and spoke to them about organ donation. Some shop owners and auto-rickshaw drivers readily accepted to place the Helpline publicity sticker on their shop/vehicle.

People from the areas of Moggapair, Padi, Anna Nagar were open to the discussion on organ donation and accepted the information brochures and also has queries about the topic. People from North Chennai – Washermanpet has a lot of apprehension even to listen about the concepts of Organ Donation. Yet the ambassadors were able to connect with many people in that area.
In all 149 people were approached and 39 stickers were placed in shops during the campaign.
