On June 3, 2024, the MOHAN Foundation Vadodara team held an informative session for Mr. and Mrs. Mehta, a dedicated elderly couple who have supported organ donation for many years. As longtime garment traders in Vadodara, the Mehtas reached out through the Foundation’s helpline to learn more about becoming organ donors themselves.
During the session, the team provided comprehensive guidance on the process of obtaining donor cards through the MOHAN Foundation’s website. They explained the role of SOTTO (State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization) in the organ donation framework and addressed common myths and misconceptions surrounding the topic. The interactive session ensured that the Mehtas received clear, factual answers to their questions.
Additionally, the Foundation supported the couple in understanding and completing the necessary steps to apply for donor cards, assisting them in filling out the applications for both Mr. and Mrs. Mehta. This engagement exemplifies the Foundation’s commitment to empowering individuals with knowledge and facilitating their participation in organ donation.
