Awareness Session Conducted at G.C. Aspira 206 Cooperative Society, New Panvel, Navi Mumbai

  • On January 19, 2025, the MOHAN Foundation conducted an informative awareness session on organ donation at G.C. Aspira 206 Cooperative Society, New Panvel, Navi Mumbai. The session was attended by 110 residents, with the primary goal of providing detailed information about organ donation. At the end of the session, 10 participants committed to organ donation by taking the pledge.

    The session was led by Ms. Prarthana, who covered topics such as brain death and cardiac death in detail. She also addressed a range of questions raised by society members, including:

    • Where is eye bank in Navi Mumbai?
    • What is a waiting list for organ donors?
    • Why cardiac patients are unable to donate organs?

    Ms. Prarthana provided thorough answers to all these queries, ensuring the residents gained a deeper understanding of the process. Mr. Baliram, the Secretary of the society, expressed gratitude to the MOHAN Foundation for organizing the session and thanked the residents for their active participation and commitment to organ donation.
