The Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025, held on January 19, united participants from diverse backgrounds to support various causes. Over 25 employees from VMRT and the MOHAN Foundation, along with volunteers, championed the life-saving cause of organ donation.
The MOHAN Foundation leveraged the event to promote organ donation and its employees and volunteers raised funds for supporting transplant surgeries under the Foundation's initiative, Anudaan: Making Transplants Affordable. Standout moments were MOHAN Foundation's Organ Donation Ambassador, Jayalakshmi Krishnan’s inspiring 10 km run during which she raised awareness for the cause.
Dream Run participants wore crowns with organ donation messages and carried slogans like “Donate Organs, Save Lives” and “Angdaan Mahadaan” (Gift of Life) during their 5.9 km run. Their enthusiasm spread the vital message to thousands of spectators, emphasizing unity and the power of giving. The event showcased the collective spirit to make a difference.
Special thanks to Jayashree Krishnan and all contributors to the Anudaan Initiative.
