True Care Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre Celebrates Women’s Day and Honours Remarkable Contributions of Women in Society

  • On March 15, 2025, True Care Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre hosted a special event to celebrate International Women's Day and honour the achievements and contributions of women in society. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Ms. Veena Wathore, Project Manager at MOHAN Foundation, who was invited as the Chief Guest for the ceremony.

    The event began with a welcome address by Ms. Asha Tamgadge, Director of True Care Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre. She highlighted the vision and mission of the centre, explaining the variety of facilities offered to patients. Ms. Tamgadge expressed the centre’s commitment to providing quality care and enhancing patient experience.

    During her speech, Veena Wathore emphasized the importance of supporting women in the community and suggested the introduction of a special care room for patients who have undergone transplants. She pointed out the challenges faced by outstation transplant patients who are unable to travel post-surgery and proposed a space for them to receive better care during their recovery period. Veena also recommended starting a day care centre for elderly individuals living alone, to engage them in productive activities and provide social support.

    As a passionate advocate for organ donation and transplantation, Veena shared valuable insights on the significance of organ donation in saving lives. She urged the attendees to pledge their support to organ donation, underscoring the need for more donors to meet the increasing demand for transplants. She encouraged everyone to join the "Gift of Life" movement and spread awareness about this noble cause.

    The event concluded with a heartfelt moment as 6 attendees took the pledge to donate their organs, a step towards creating a more compassionate and life-saving community.

    The program was attended by nearly 30 guests, and it proved to be an inspiring and impactful gathering, celebrating the strength, achievements, and contributions of women.
