  • In alignment with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare's "Angdan Jagurkta Abhiyan," MOHAN Foundation collaborated with Indira Gandhi Government Medical College's Department of Anaesthesiology to conduct an organ donation sensitization programme on July 15, 2024, at RSA Industries Private Ltd. This session aimed to raise awareness among employees about the critical need for organ donation and transplantation.

During the session, MOHAN Foundation distributed informative brochures, pledge forms, and Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials, emphasizing the importance of organ donation. Dr. Sheetal Dalal and Dr. Leena Ingale, Associate Professors at IGGMC, along with resident doctors Dr. Akshay Muley and Dr. Ashish Chauvhan, led the session, sensitizing 80 employees on the significance of organ donation.

As a result of this initiative, two employees made the noble decision to pledge their organs for donation, reflecting the success of the session in inspiring personal commitments to this life-saving cause.

This sensitization effort exemplifies MOHAN Foundation's ongoing commitment to fostering public awareness and encouraging participation in organ donation, thereby potentially transforming and enhancing the lives of those in need of transplants.
