On July 31, 2024 MOHAN Foundation was given an opportunity to set up an Organ Donation information desk at the Ayanavaram Bus Terminus. Students of Madras School of Social Work, Ms. Divya Dharshini, Mr. Bharath Sri along with Ms. Maheswari and Ms. Swethapriya, from VIT college were the resource persons for the awareness activity.
They distributed information brochures to the people waiting at the terminus. These were accepted willingly. However, the shopkeepers near the bus terminus didn’t show much interest in reading the brochure but they were asking the purpose of the awareness. More than 50 information brochures were distributed.
