Organ Donation Awareness Session Conducted at Sthanak Hall, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.

  • On December 8, 2024, the MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session at Sthanak Hall, Vashi, Navi Mumbai, organized for members of the Kachh Yuvak Sangh. The session was led by Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi Public Education Counsellor in MOHAN Foundation.

    The program covered the following key aspects: Organ and tissue donation, including the concepts of brain death and cardiac death.

    Information on which organs and tissues can be donated.

    Legal frameworks governing organ donation and addressing common myths.

    The session was attended by 74 members of Kachh Yuvak Sangh, who actively participated and raised insightful questions, such as:

    Can a diabetic person donate their corneas after death?

    How can one enroll as a volunteer with the MOHAN Foundation?
