  • Organ donation ambassador, Mr Parth Sharma, is dedicated to increase organ donation rates in India and providing patients on transplant waitlist with a new life opportunity by actively dispelling myths and promoting awareness about organ donation in the Delhi-NCR area.

In the last seven months from July 2024, Parth has led several awareness initiatives, especially targeting student-heavy areas like Patel Nagar and Rajinder Nagar, Delhi  interacting with students in communal study areas, libraries, and tutoring centers. The posters designed by him  were prominently showcased throughout these neighbourhoods to generate interest, while individual conversations took place with interested individuals to address their questions. In his engaging sessions, Parth addressed questions, offered accurate information, and emphasized the life-saving difference one donor can make.

Several students stepped up to enroll as organ donors, and he assisted with the process. He assisted them in overcoming the hesitation to commit caused by existing myths and misunderstandings. A notably positive result was the excitement shown by students who confidently took pictures with organ donation awareness posters, posting their commitments on social media. This online ripple effect expanded the campaign's reach, motivating others to connect with the cause.

Along with obtaining more than 100 pledges so far, these initiatives have motivated multiple students to embrace the cause personally dedicating themselves to promoting the message within their own communities. Amid heightened awareness within the student population a group capable of fostering enduring societal transformation and an expanding network of individuals devoted to the mission, Parth’s commitment has established a strong groundwork for ongoing awareness and elevated organ donor registrations, reflecting the MOHAN Foundation’s goal of enhancing life through informed decision-making
