Online Training Conducted on ‘Role of NGO’s Working in the Field of Organ Donation

  • On November 27, 2024, MOHAN Foundation was honored to be invited to deliver an online guest lecture as part of the Certificate Course in Organ Donation and Transplant Coordination at Tirpude College of Social Work, Nagpur. The session was attended by Dr. Swati Dharmadhikari (Principal), Lecturer Prachi Shirsath, and 17 students from across various states. Mrs. Veena Wathore, representing MOHAN Foundation, conducted a comprehensive session titled "Role of NGOs Working in the Field of Organ Donation," providing the students with valuable insights into the significant contributions made by non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in raising awareness about organ donation and coordinating efforts among various stakeholders in society.

    Mrs. Wathore began the session by presenting an enlightening overview of the role of NGOs in the organ donation sector, explaining how NGOs play an essential part in spreading awareness, bridging the gap between donors and recipients, and coordinating efforts among healthcare professionals, families, and government bodies.
