One week Transplant Coordinators’ Training Programme at Nagpur

Updated on Wednesday, January 9, 2013
  • The success of organ donation and transplantation depends upon good counselling and coordination by transplant coordinators.  The Transplantation of Human Organs (Amendment) Act, 2011 has made Transplant Coordinator nomination mandatory before a hospital is registered as a Transplant Centre.  This means there is a huge requirement of Transplant Coordinators in over 300 Transplant centres in the country.

In order to meet the growing demand for Transplant Coordinators, MOHAN Foundation has embarked upon training programs to suit the needs of health care professionals in hospitals.   We have conducted several training programs in the country and trained over 332 transplant coordinators so far. The training programs are supported by the Navajbai Ratan Tata Trust, Mumbai.

We are happy to announce a “One Week Transplant Coordinators’ Training Program” in collaboration with Zonal Transplant Coordination Centre(ZTCC), Nagpur.
