On February 28, 2025 students of Bachelors of Social Work, Stella Maris College , Chennai visited MOHAN Foundation for an exposure visited 34 first year BSW students visited the office in two batches and learnt about MOHAN Foundation (MF) and the activities.
Introduction to the NGO was given by Dr Hemal Kanvinde, Quality Assurance Officer. She spoke about start of the NGO, its activities and explained the use of website for more information. Followed up with Mr. Ganesh C, who explained about the process of organ donation and transplantation, brain death and organ donation helpline number 1800 103 7100. Finally, Ms. Sujatha Associate Director – Courses, spoke about the courses offered by MF and job opportunities as a transplant coordinator.
The session concluded by vote of thanks by a student and Ms Hephzibah Mercy J, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, thanked MOHAN Foundation for the opportunity and hospitality.
