On November 24, 2022, MOHAN Foundation-Delhi NCR in association with National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO) organized a special screening of movie “Aye Zindagi” at PVR Promenade, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The main aim of this event was to spread a strong message about the need for and importance of organ donation to a larger audience.
“Aye Zindagi”, a Hindi-language film, is based on the incredible true story of Ms. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director, MOHAN Foundation, played by veteran south actress and 3-time National Film Award winner Revathy Menon in the lead role. The film received 4 star rating from Times of India which is directed by Dr Anirban Bose (Senior Nephrologist at the University of Rochester Medical Center and Advisor & President - MOHAN USA). The movie has a beautiful message of love, hope and healing through organ donation and transplantation.
The entire auditorium of PVR Promenade was booked for the screening of this movie. Representatives from NOTTO, various NGO’s, corporates, government healthcare institutes, doctors, nurses and transplant coordinators from 25 public & private hospitals in Delhi NCR, enthusiastically came to watch the movie and gave a huge round of applause at the end of movie.
The audience was overwhelmed to see a real story on organ donation and reaffirmed their commitment to the cause of saving lives. The viewers gave very positive feedback about the movie. To name a few:
