


Mrs. Sujata Babras, from BPCL’s Employee Satisfaction Enhancement (ESE) Cell invited MOHAN Foundation to conduct awareness talks at their office at Fort, Mumbai on 2nd September 2016.
The talks were conducted by Mrs.Jaya Jairam to the employees of BPCL. The concepts of Organ Donation, rate of Deceased Organ Donation in India vis-à-vis the rest of the world, which are the solid organs that can be donated and what is the necessity for Organ donation were explained. She further touched upon the myths and barriers to deceased organ donation in India and how they can be overcome.
She being a kidney recipient herself, narrated her own personal experiences and how she herself became inspired to further the cause of Organ donation which can give others the miraculous Gift of Life.
Almost all the employees signed up and wished to Pledge their organs.
