Hon’ble Health Minister of Manipur, Dr. Sapam Ranjan Singh, visited the camp and encouraged citizens to make use of the services provided. He distributed prescription glasses provided free of charge by the State Ophthalmic Cell, Lamphel, Imphal.

Ms. Monica explained that many generous individuals in Manipur had come forward to pledge their organs and eyes.

The eye bank counsellors distributed Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on eye donation and encouraged citizens to discuss their wishes with their families.

The team successfully secured one pledge each for eye and whole-body donation, and nearly 200 citizens obtained information on organ, eye, and whole-body donation.
