On June 3, 2024, the MOHAN Foundation Vadodara team conducted a comprehensive organ donation awareness session tailored for Mr. and Mrs. Mehta, a venerable couple who reached out to the organization through its helpline. The Mehtas, esteemed garment traders in Vadodara with a rich legacy spanning over three decades, expressed strong advocacy for organ donation and were keen to acquaint themselves with the requisite legalities and procedural aspects.
During the session, the Foundation focused on elucidating the process of acquiring donor cards via their official website, while emphasizing the pivotal role played by the SOTTO (State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization). The interactive engagement was designed not only to dispel prevalent myths and misconceptions but also to provide factual insights and guidance, ensuring the couple gained a comprehensive understanding of the procedures involved.
