On 9th April 2019, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the secretary, Red Cross – Punjab, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their First Aid Students at Vivekanand Bhawan, Chandigarh. Around 50 participants from various parts of Punjab, Haryana & Chandigarh College Students, Patient Care Attendants, Home Nursing, Nannies and Bus Conductors participated in the program.
Participants were given the presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma.
In this talk she explained the following points: -
All the participants got motivated and convinced to support Organ Donation. Participants did applaud in the end for the efforts taken by Mohan Foundation.
Few questions were asked by the participants
1. In which case organ cannot be transplanted?
2. How skin can be donated
All the questioned have been answered in the end and they love share their wish with their family members.
