On 18th July, 2016, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Commandant, Col M.K Sharma, 2Bn. N.C.C., Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk for their N.C.C. Cadets and J.C.Os at Ropar. The group of students were from Chandigarh Colleges Govt & Private. The cadets were very much aware about Organ Donation. Around 150 cadets and J.C.Os participated in the program.
Audience were given an introduction by Mr. Dewan and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Deepika Arora. It was indeed and amazing session as participants asked many relevant questions on organ donation.
The Participants asked the following questions:-
What is the difference between natural death and brain death?
Can skin be donated?
What is bone marrow and its Transplant?
Why can’t the Brain be transplanted?
