Interns Allen George and Sujil Saji, who completed MOHAN Foundation’s online Organ Donation Ambassador Training while interning at the foundation’s NCR office, successfully conducted an informative session on organ donation for the Mar Thoma Youth. The Mar Thoma Syrian Church, known for its strong emphasis on education and social service, actively engages its youth in various awareness and community service initiatives.
The session featured a comprehensive presentation by Allen George, who covered essential aspects of both living and deceased organ donation. He provided valuable insights into the processes and significance of organ donation, aiming to enhance participants' understanding of the subject.
Intern Sujil Saji further elaborated on the roles and responsibilities of the MOHAN Foundation, emphasizing its mission, objectives, and ongoing initiatives to promote organ donation and support transplant recipients.
The interactive session attracted approximately 15 participants, who actively engaged with the presenters by asking relevant questions and sharing their perspectives. Following the presentation, Mrs. Sanya Santosh, Program Officer of the NCR office, facilitated a Q&A session, addressing participants’ queries in detail and ensuring a productive and informative conclusion to the event.
