On the occasion of retirement function for GP Capt. T Arunachalam (Group Commander) of NCC Group B was held on June 16, 2023 at St. Thomas College of Arts and Science, Koyambedu, Chennai. MOHAN Foundation was given an opportunity to set up an information desk on organ donation. MOHAN Foundation’s Ms. Arshiya Fathima H (Helpline Counselor) & Mr. Ganesh C (Marketing Coordinator) set up an information desk and manned it from 4 pm to 5:45 pm. Green ribbons, information brochures, registration forms, donor cards and standee were kept at the information desk. Around 100 NCC cadets and officers attended the function.
Information about organ donation was shared first with Col. Gurpreet Singh. He asked MOHAN Foundation staff to help him to pledge his organ. Then GP Capt T Arunachalam visited the information desk and asked about the work of MOHAN Foundation and collected brochures and pinned a green ribbon. Ms. Arshiya and Mr. Ganesh explained the work of MOHAN Foundation and the usage of helpline number 18001037100. Mr. Ganesh distributed brochures and green ribbons to the audience.
