  • On July 25, 2024, the MOHAN Foundation conducted a drawing competition focused on organ donation for primary school students at Ekata Mata Nagar Primary School. The event was organized at the invitation of Ms. Jayashree Ghode, a class teacher at the school. Mr. Bulu Behera from the MOHAN Foundation facilitated the event by providing the necessary drawing materials for the students to sketch human organs.

During the competition, Mr. Behera engaged with the students by using their drawings as a tool to explain the functions of various organs in the human body. He made the concept of organs and tissues accessible to the young audience by breaking it down into simple terms. This approach helped the students understand the differences between organs and tissues in an age-appropriate manner. In addition to the educational aspect, Mr. Behera also discussed the importance of self-hygiene, encouraging the children to maintain good health practices.

The drawing competition saw participation from approximately 20 enthusiastic students, who created colorful and imaginative representations of human organs. The MOHAN Foundation expresses its gratitude to Ms. Jayashree Ghode for allowing this interaction with her students and for supporting the initiative to raise awareness about organ donation among young children.
