MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct an awareness program on organ donation for the staff of Chennai Metro Rail Limited on 12th January 2018 at 11 AM. Dr. Hemal Kanvinde - Quality Assurance Officer and Mr. Siva Shankar T S - Helpline Executive were present to conduct the session. Mrs. Sujatha Jayaraj – Director Finance, Mr. Rajeev Narayan Dwivedi – Director Projects, Mr. L. Narasim Prasad – Director Systems and Operations, Mr. T. P. Vinod Kumar – Joint General Manager HR and Mr. S. Raghuraman – Assistant Manager HR were present during the session.
The session began with green ribbons and information brochures being distributed to the participants. Mr. S. Raghuraman introduced the MOHAN Foundation staff to the participants and the concept of organ donation was explained by Mr. Siva Shankar. Dr. Hemal Kanvinde answered these questions elaborately. The session ended with a vote of thanks by Mr. T.P. Vinod Kumar. 5 participants registered as organ donors out of the 25 who attended the session. Mr. Narasim Prasad requested MOHAN Foundation to organise similar programmes at the stations of Chennai Metro Rail.
