On May 29, 2023, the MOHAN Foundation conducted an organ donation awareness session for the group of DTC bus conductors undergoing refresher training at the DTC Training School, Nand Nagri Depot, Delhi. This was the month's fifth session. Ms. Simran Anand, Programme Officer at the MF Delhi office, was the session's presenter.
Ms. Simran initiated the session by inquiring about the participants' knowledge of organ donation. She then explained to the participants the fundamentals of organ donation. The term brain death was defined by means of a brief educational film. Ms. Simran clarified the concept of legal death and the processes involved in a brain death declaration for the participants.
