On 8th August 2019, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Hardeep Singh, Asst. Manager-CSR to conduct an awareness talk on Organ Donation for the township Families at HPCL Mittal Energy Limited Township, Bathinda – Punjab. Around 80 ladies attended the session.
Mr. Sudhir Dewan started the lecture giving information about Organ Donation.
Participants were given an introduction and presentation on Organ donation and brain stem death by Ms. Neha Sharma.
In this talk she explained the following points: -
Three real incidents of Chandigarh were shared with the entire group and how they ended up saving lives of others and became a legacy. Also, that the act of donation is truly miraculous and a true gift of Life.
It was a very enthusiastic group and most of them asked questions. Everyone expressed their wish to signing up for donor card and that they will support Organ donation movement in a big way. In the end all the participants picked up the donor cards and expressed their wish to share the same with their families and friends.
