On 12th July 2021, MOHAN Foundation in association with Transplants – Help The Poor Foundation was invited by Mr. Ramesh Kanhere- PI of Bajaj Nagar Police Station, Nagpur to conduct a session on organ donation for his colleagues.
Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi introduced MOHAN Foundation and explained its mission and objectives to the audience.
She began her presentation by asking the participants about their personal thoughts and feeling about organ donation, she then touched upon the following topics about organ donation and its importance in India.
She explained the role of police in MLC cases. Around 44 police staff attended the session and about 22 pledged their organs. All the queries were answered promptly and patiently with examples.
We thank Mr. Ramesh Kanhere - PI of Bajaj Nagar Police Station for inviting us and giving us the opportunity to create awareness about organ donation to police personnel.
