  • On December 19, 2024, the MOHAN Foundation hosted a powerful and heartfelt organ donation awareness session at Veer Wajekar College, Uran. Led by the passionate and inspiring Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi, the session illuminated the life-saving impact of organ and tissue donation, leaving a lasting impression on all attendees.

    Ms. Prarthana captivated the audience as she explained complex concepts like brain death and cardiac death, showing how one person’s selfless decision to donate can offer hope and a second chance at life to many. She also addressed common myths surrounding organ donation and clarified the legal frameworks that ensure the process is both ethical and safe.

    The session sparked meaningful dialogue, with 82 students engaging deeply in the discussion. Questions like, “Why post mortem required after donating their organs?” and “What are the benefits of body donation?” showcased their curiosity and genuine desire to understand and make a difference.

    The event stood as a testament to the power of awareness and compassion. The MOHAN Foundation expressed heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Amodh.
