On 19th June, 2024, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Commandant, Col Sanjay Roy, 5 Punjab Battalion NCC Patiala, to conduct an awareness session for their NCC Cadets and J.C.Os at NCC Academy Rupnagar Punjab. Around 450 Cadets from various School & Colleges of Punjab and 12 Officers participated in the program.
Ms. Neha Sharma began the session by asking the participants about their understanding of organ donation. She then explained the concept of organ donation to the participants. She discussed with them organs that can be donated after natural death and brain death and asked the cadets about their perceptions of donation after death. She also discussed the MOHAN Foundation's role and how youth can serve as ambassadors for the cause of organ donation.
Ms. Neha Sharma then explained the current status of organ donation in India. She also explained the basic concepts of organ donation and transplantation with the help of a PowerPoint presentation.

It was indeed an amazing session. It was an interactive session with the Cadets. All the Cadets, Officers and Commandant in the session expressed their support for the noble cause.
