On 20th August 2022, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session at St. Michael’s School for the high school students of classes 8th ,9th and 10th. The session was organised by Mr. Mohan Nisthala in association with Rotary club of Secunderabad. Dr Bhanu Chandra was the key resource.
St Michael’s school is one of the most popular schools in the city which has been in the city for the past twenty-four years and has been instrumental in shaping several student’s of the country. Dr. Chandra introduced the session by giving a brief on MOHAN Foundation and kept the audience engaged throughout the session.

The session was very interactive where participants enthusiastically contributed the discussion and several questions were posed by the audience. The importance of family consent was explained in detail and an Organ Donation movie was played for the students to understand the concept of Organ Donation.
Close to 600 students attended the session and 550 pledged to donate organs. Brochures were distributed at the end of the session.
