Woman Sets a Novel Example by Donating Husband’s Organs After His Death

On seeing the example set by a relative three siblings have decided to donate their organs after their death. Sudha Suresh’s husband was fatally injured in an accident while crossing the road.

Doctors informed her that many parts of her husband’s body were in good condition. So after consulting with all family members Mrs. Sudha decided to donate his organs. She donated her husband’s eyes, kidneys, liver, pancreas, heart and skin.

According to the victim's brother, J. Sunder, who is a marketing executive in a private company said, "On talking about it, we realized that it could help give a new lease of life to so many people. If we donated his organs, it could help different people in different ways instead of merely cremating it and giving away the ashes. We are very proud of our sister-in-law for taking the decision. Of my family of six brothers, three of us are remaining. All of us have decided to donate our organs after our death as well."
