    August 3, a day that we commemorate as the Indian Organ Donation Day is a day to raise awareness and celebrate lives. This celebration is not possible without the efforts and hard work of umpteen people who have been the messiah to spread the proper awareness, information and ensure a smooth process of organ donation for both, the donor and the recipient.

    A number of organ donation organizations have been working day and night behind this noble cause and as they say, no effort goes unnoticed. One such organization that has been a strong pillar for this cause is the �MOHAN Foundation.�

    MOHAN Foundation Receives �Best NGO� Award

    MOHAN Foundation received the award for being the best NGO at the 13th IODD which was held on 3rd August in the presence of the Hon�ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare.

    Mohan Foundation Conducts First Successful Deceased Donation in Entire Northeast India

    But what was a greater achievement for this organization was that a day before receiving this award they helped a successful deceased donation in Manipur despite the unrest in the region.

    �This is the First donation of its kind in the whole of the Northeast region in India.�

    With the support of the SBI Foundation, MOHAN Foundation has been working in Imphal in the Govt sector at Jawahar Lal Institute of Medical Sciences for the last 5 years. They recently conducted their third ICU Counselling workshop.
