Shri. Sunil Arora

Shri. Sunil Arora, IAS (Retd.) is the retired Chief Election Commissioner of India. He has served in several key positions in Government of India and Government of Rajasthan. Read More
As an IAS officer, Arora served in various key positions for both the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan, including as the Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Principal Secretary (Small Industries), Principal Secretary (Investment and Protocol), Chairman and managing director of the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

Shri Arora has also been the district magistrate and Collector of Jodhpur, Nagaur, Alwar, and Dholpur districts in the Rajasthan Government, and as the Union Information and Broadcasting Secretary, Union Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Secretary, Chairperson and Managing Director of the Indian Airlines, and as a joint secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation in the Indian government.

He is extremely passionate about the field of organ donation and has witnessed the work being done in Rajasthan.

Mr. Ramesh Sharma

Mr. Ramesh Sharma is currently an Executive Director at Legasis Pvt. Ltd. He is a former Indian Police Service (IPS) officer with 35 years of distinguished service who retired as Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh, India. Read More
Passionate about training, he is a well-established Speaker at various national and international conferences on several subjects, including Ethics, Compliance, Anti-Bribery, Anti-Corruption, Frauds, Anti-Money Laundering, Corporate Counter-Espionage, Security, Intelligence, Public Administration and Policy and Police Administration. He is an enthusiastic motivator, coach and mentor, drawing from his experience of 35 years in leadership roles.

He also served with distinction as a Diplomat (Counsellor) in the High Commission of India, Ottawa, Canada and held the charges of Political, Commercial and Consular sections during his tenure of four years.

Mr. Sharma acquired a degree in Public Administration from the prestigious, Ecole Nationale d'Administration (ENA), Paris/Strasbourg that is responsible for the training of the crème de la crème of the French Bureaucracy.

He has co-authored a book on ‘Combating Corruption in India’, which has been published by the Cambridge University Press in October 2018.

He is a recipient of several awards and commendations, including the Prime Minister's Medal for Meritorious Service, President's Medal for Distinguished Service and the Police (Special Duty) Medal with First Bar.

Post retirement, he has been eagerly contributing his efforts to social work as his pay back to society.

Mr. Rajiv Arora

Rajiv Arora started Amrapali, in 1978, in Jaipur. He laid the foundation of the company by collecting old pieces from remote interiors of India. He used elements of Ethnic Indian Jewelry in his designs and revived the traditional methods to incorporate in his pieces, in order to create a design language distinct to Amrapali. Read More

Amrapali was the official jewelry designer for Femina Miss India pageant since 1996 to 2003. Diana Hayden (Miss World 1997), Yukta Mukhi (Miss World 1999), Priyanka Chopra (Miss World 2000) and Lara Dutta (Miss Universe 2000) have adorned Amrapali creations.

Amrapali has designed exclusive pieces for Bollywood movies like Rog, Paap, Sadiyaan, Kajrare, Raavan and recently Bahuballi-2 & for Hollywood movies like The Far Pavillions, Troy and Valley of Flowers, an Indo – French venture.

Amrapali showcased its design collection at the Olympus Fashion Week 2006 in New York, on first day of the event.

Rajiv Arrora had rare honor of designing gifts, which were presented to the former US President Mr. Bill Clinton on behalf of Rajasthan Government.
Today his company Amrapali, has showrooms in Jaipur at Panchbatti (Flagship Store) and at Rambagh Palace, Jaipur along with New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Jodhpur and two outlets in London and an Office at New York.

Rajiv Arrora presides over various trade promotional bodies of Rajasthan and has actively involved in promoting tourism and trade.

He is the National Chairman of Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (Gems & Jewelry), Chairman of Indo American Chamber of Commerce (Raj. Chapter) He is been elected as the President of Federation of Rajasthan Exporters (FORE) for three consecutive terms.
He is the Convener of Gold & silver Jewelry Exporters Association, Patron of Oxidized Silver Jewelry Manufacturers Association and he was the Secretary of Rajasthan ‘Sarafa Sangh’.

He was the member of Central Board of Film Certification (Censor Board) (Govt. of India), 20 Point Program Implementation Committee (Jaipur), and Advisory Board of Crafts Museum (National Handicrafts & Handloom Museum).

He has been conducting many seminars to make “Jaipur a World Class City”. Elected as the President of Environment Science & Technology Dept., Rajasthan, he has also represented Indian Youth Congress at Moscow- in World Youth Festival.

In order to help Jaipur to gain the prestigious place in the most beautiful heritage cities in the World, he became the founder member of the Jaipur Virasat Foundation. Jaipur Virasat Foundation (JVF) works with and for traditional artists in Rajasthan, a state rich in historic habitations, traditional arts, crafts, and cultural resources. It has pioneered a holistic, culture based up on cross-sector approach to livelihood generation through its various activities, events, advocacy forums and networks, always trying to employ specialist skills and best practices.

He is the Chairperson of Jaipur Citizen Forum which is a charitable trust aiming to become a platform for Jaipur Citizens. JCF plans to contribute for the city to promote & protect heritage, arts, culture, education, technology, sports etc and bring Jaipur citizens on a common platform to contribute for their own city.
He is also the Chairperson of Jaipur Heritage Citizens Festival Committee and former President of Federation of Rajasthan Tourism Society (FORTS).
As the Chairman of RTDC he made sincere efforts to develop Jaipur as the first heritage city in the country. To develop heritage properties, the State had launched the land-bank scheme to enable private parties adopt the properties and develop them. Several incentives were also being offered to investors by tourism industry. Special tariffs in hotels were offered to cater to the needs of different segments of people. As this was an age of packages and marketing, efforts were on to develop lesser known tourist destinations in the State.
In addition, during his tenure as Chairman of World renowned Luxury train Palace on Wheels was a tremendous success with 78 per cent occupancy.

In Jaipur when you say "Sadbhawna Ke Sipahi", just this is enough to reach Mr. Rajiv Arora, a human being known for his clean image, humble nature, fine looks, and within the approach of a common man. This "Jewel" of the city known for his Gems & Jewels, working for humanity is built in him and this took a a new direction in 2013 when he launched the concept of Cadaver Organ Donation in Rajasthan. The foundation of MFJCF was laid and he very aptly gave it the name NAVJEEWAN. His able leadership to the Team MFJCF and his passion for service to Mankind has enabled Jaipur to save more than 150 lives through Cadaver Organ Donation.

Dr. Satya Vrat Sharma

Dr Sharma has retired from NHS (National Health Service) UK after serving for close to 35 years. He developed an affinity for organ donation very early in the career and had developed an innovative approach to increase awareness within Asian communities of England where the need was 3 times more than the host community and the registration rates were extremely low. He established POD (Promoting Organ Donation), a voluntary group in 2014.

Dr Sharma has played a very vital role in establishing the MoU between MF and NHS Blood & Transplant (NHSBT) that was signed in House of Lords UK in February 2015. The MoU has been signed with the intent to exchange the ideas, share good practices and to help exchange of visitors for creating “win-win” for UK and India. A lot has been achieved with the plan for more in the future.

He has been awarded several honours and awards:
- MBE (like Padam Shree) awarded by HM the Queen for services to NHS and OD 2011
- Honorary Fellowship of BMA 2013
- Appointed Deputy Lieutenant for West Midlands to represent Lord Lieutenant 2014
- Awarded “Excellent Global Indian award” by WCRC 2014

Dr. Sridhar Nagaiyan

Dr. Sridhar Nagaiyan is Senior ICU consultant, Intensive Care Unit at Kauvery Hospital, Chennai. Earlier he worked as a critical care specialist at University Hospital North Staffordshire, UK. He was also the former NHS Blood and Transplant Regional Director for Organ Donation, Midlands, UK which covers 28 hospitals in the region and provide clinical, ethical and legal advice to clinicians in this complex field.Read More
Dr Sridhar was instrumental in establishing the MoU between MOHAN Foundation and NHS Blood & Transplant (NHSBT) that was signed in House of Lords UK in February 2015. The MoU has been signed with the intent to exchange ideas, share good practices and to help exchange of visitors for creating “win-win” for UK and India.

Dr Sridhar has also developed the an App for Donor Optimisation for smart phones for MOHAN Foundation, which serves as a quick reference guide for donor optimisation following confirmation of brain death. This app can be used widely for intensive care personnel engaged in diagnosing and maintaining potential brain dead organ donors.

Dr Sridhar has worked extensively with the MF team to develop a curriculum to train intensive care staff on brain death and organ donation.

Dr. T. S. Kler

Dr. Kler is the Executive Director, Cardiac Sciences and Head of Department of Cardiology Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Delhi. Dr. Kler has many firsts to his credit in this country in the field of cardiology. He played a key role in organizing first Indo-Pak Heart summit in Amritsar, Punjab in 2004 thus bringing the doctors of both countries scientifically and socially together. Read More
He was awarded Padma Bhushan in 2005 by the President of India for his contribution to the field of medicine and received “Distinguished Medical Service Award” from IMA Academy of Specialties in 2007 along with several Lifetime achievement awards.

Dr. Ravi Mohanka

Dr. Ravi Mohanka is the Chief Surgeon and Head of Department of Liver Transplant and Hepato-Biliary Surgery at Global Hospitals, Mumbai, which is the leading liver transplant unit in western India. He has a considerable experience in living and deceased donor liver transplantation, pancreal transplant, Intestinal and multi-visceral transplantation and surgery for Liver, Gall Bladder, and Bile duct cancers. Dr Mohanka is associated with several governments and trust hospitals to make liver surgery and transplant more accessible and affordable. He has always been very passionate about spreading awareness about organ donation and streamlining systems and processes for organ retrieval, preservation, and distribution in India. He has always worked closely with MOHAN Foundation to further this common passion.

Dr. Anirban Bose

Dr. Anirban Bose is the Associate professor of Medicine and Nephrology at the University of Rochester in Upstate NY. Having experienced firsthand the problems patients in India face in their effort to get a kidney transplant, he has a long and abiding interest in renal transplantation from both a personal and professional standpoint.Read More
Along with a group of likeminded people, he was instrumental in setting up MOHAN Foundation in the USA and seeks to further the cause of MOHAN Foundation.

Ms. Kim Verma Modi

Ms. Kim Verma Modi is the President and Managing Trustee of Verma Medicine Research Trust, the group behind the development of Global Hospital in Parel, Mumbai. The Trust provides medical assistance to the economically challenged. Ms. Verma graduated from Boston University, majoring in Finance and Marketing, and also received a diploma in International Understanding from the United Nations. Read More
She is committed to supporting a variety of social causes such as childhood cancer, organ donation, palliative care, education and animal rights.

With the help of her guidance and support, the Foundation was able to set up an office in Mumbai. She continues to advise and energise the MF team in Mumbai and is keen to take forward the mandate of promoting deceased organ donation in Maharashtra.

Dr. Samiran Nundy

Dr. Samiran Nundy set up the Surgical Gastroenterology and Liver Transplantation Department at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi in 1996. He was a medical undergraduate in Cambridge and Guy's Hospital London and then trained in Medicine and later in Surgery at Guy's, Addenbrooke’s Cambridge, the Hammersmith and the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He has taught at the Universities of Cambridge, London, and Harvard and returned to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 1975 where he eventually became Professor and Head of the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery.

He has written/edited 37 books which includes The National Medical Journal of India, Tropical Gastroenterology, and the Indian Journal of Medical Ethics and has authored 236 research papers.

He was earlier the Dean of the Ganga Ram Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education and Research and is currently on the Board of Trustees of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. He is the Editor in Chief of Current Medicine Research and Practice and Chairman (with Prof. Zulfikar Bhutta) of the Editorial Board of BMJ South Asia.

Dr Nundy was instrumental in drafting and subsequently helping in pass through both Houses of the Indian Parliament, the Transplantation of Human Organs Act 1994 which set in motion the deceased donation program in India. He is big advocate of deceased organ donation and has always supported the work of the Foundation.

Dr. Avnish Seth

Dr. Avnish Seth is Director, MOST (Manipal Organ Sharing Transplant). An alumnus of AFMC Pune and PGIMER Chandigarh, with fellowships in Liver Transplantation (UK) and Endoscopic Ultrasound (USA), he has pioneered organ donation in North India since 2006. Read More
Dr. Seth established the Armed Forces Organ Retrieval & Transplant Authority (AORTA) at Army Hospital (R&R) in 2007, the first successful organ donation program in North India and was awarded the Vishist Seva Medal by the President of India in 2009.

A member of International Society for Organ Donation and Procurement (ISODP), Dr. Seth is a member of Apex Technical Committee for National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO). He is spearheading the Fortis ‘More To Give’ campaign to promote organ donation across India that was awarded the best CSR initiative for the country in 2016.

Mr. Rohit Toshniwal

Armed with an MS (Industrial Engineering) from Wayne State University (USA) and BE (Mechanical Engineering) from SRM Engineering College (Chennai), Mr Rohit Toshniwal works with his family held company “Toshniwal group of companies” that specializes in Process Instrumentation, Vacuum Technology and Powder Processing. Mr Toshniwal is a Member of Indian Institution of Production Engineer, Member of Rajasthan Cosmo Club and has served as a board Member of Entrepreneurs Organization.

His father, late Sh Prabhat Toshniwal, was a Trustee of MOHAN Foundation. The family has a strong history of philanthropy and have always supported the cause of organ donation.

Mr. Bijay Agarwal

Mr. Bijay Agarwal is the Managing Director of Salarpuria Sattva Group. He is an astute businessman whose passion for real estate development goes beyond commercial gains. He genuinely wishes to contribute to a “Futuristic New Era of Development’ and contribute to progressive growth of the country. He was associated with Computer Point, India’s first multi-product retail outlet for personal computers and peripherals, and later co-founded Microland, India’s first networking company. He was the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sify which, under his stewardship, became the first Indian Internet company to list on NASDAQ National Market in the US. He later served as a Senior Advisor at Sequoia Capital, and is currently in a similar position at Elevar Equity. His early career included stints at Jagatjit Industries, Berger Paints, and Johnson & Johnson. He is on the board of several not for profit organizations.

Mr. A. K. Viswanathan

Vis has a unique blend of business, technology and risk experience, having helped organizations understand and deal with their technology risk, especially in the cyber space. Considered a leader at Deloitte, he has built, coached, and mentored multiple teams, resulting in him being named National Talent Partner for Deloitte Risk Advisory Services in India.

Mr. Arun Shroff

Mr. Arun Shroff is a serial entrepreneur, who has founded multiple tech startups in USA and India. He is a founder of Xtend.AI, a startup using AI to solve global challenges in health and other domains, a co-founder of MedIndia, a leading health website, and founder of FrontPoint Systems a web solutions provider. He is also a topic lead at ITU/WHO's Focus Group on AI for Health and on the advisory boards of multiple startups and non-profits in USA and India. Read More
He has been an invited speaker at conferences globally on AI and technology including the UN, ITU/WHO, IIT and TiE. Mr. Shroff has a B.Tech from IIT Madras, MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, M.S. in Computer Science from Penn State University and certifications in AI from Stanford.

Mr Shroff is an active supporter of several social causes including organ donation and education of poor and under privileged girl children in India. He has been supporting the work of MOHAN Foundation since its inception. He is also on the board of MOHAN USA and continues to energise its activities.

Dr. Prashant Garg

Dr. Prashant Garg is Executive Chairman of L V Prasad Eye Institute. He has held several leadership positions of the institute before being elected to the present position. Dr. Garg obtained his medical degree (1987) and residency in Ophthalmology (1991) from Ravindra Nath Tagore Medical College Udaipur affiliated to the Rajasthan University, Jaipur. He completed his cornea fellowship from L V Prasad Eye Institute and joined the organization as faculty in cornea and anterior segment services in 1997. Read More
His primary area of interest and ongoing research is Corneal infection and has published extensively on epidemiology, clinical features of rare infections, antibiotic resistance in ocular isolates and drug delivery systems. He has received several major grants and has published 199 research articles in peer reviewed journals.

He is member of various national and international ophthalmology societies and is member of advisory board of World Health Organization (WHO) committee on tissue banking.

He is recipient of several awards including the “senior achievement award” from the American Academy of Ophthalmology (2013) and achievement award of Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology 2013. He is member of the UKRI International Development Peer Review College.
