On 22^nd & 23^rd May’24 MOHAN Foundation was invited to set up an information desk on organ donation at Tech Mahindra SEZ Bahudurpally and Hitch City campus. This initiative followed an awareness talk conducted by MOHAN Foundation on 21^st May by Dr. Bhanu Chandra Sr. Transplant Coordinator. Several people visited the information desk and pledged to be organ donors. Mr. Prakash Reddy spoke about the need and importance of organ donation and explained in detail the key concepts of organ donation.

The following were discussed in detail for the stall visitors:

• Organ donation and its need in the society
• When and how does organ donation take place
• Organs that can be donated during life and after death
• Transplant waiting list in India
• Role of MOHAN Foundation
• Eye donation
• Does the donor card have any legal validity
• How is MOHAN Foundation associated with Jeevandan
• The process of skin donation
• How to reach MOHAN Foundation in case of death
• Organ allocation system in Telangana

Close to 150 people visited the stall at both the places.
