On April 12, 2024 Rotary Club of Madras Metro organized Spirit of India Award event at Madras Management Association (MMA), Anna Salai. In this achievers from various fields who rendered service to society were where recognized and awarded.

The following are the details of the awards presented:

Spirit of India Award

• Ms. Preethi Srinivasan – Founder, Soulfree Trust
• Dr. Mohammed Askar – Founder, Isai Murasu FM
• Mr. Khalid – Uravugal Trust

Vocational Excellence Award

• Dr. Ramasubramaniyan – ED, National Agro Foundation

FOR THE SAKE OF HONOUR AWARD

• Dr. Sunil Shroff – Founder & Managing Trustee, MOHAN Foundation

Dr Sunil Shroff, Founder and Managing Trustee, MOHAN Foundation was awarded “FOR THE SAKE OF HONOR AWARD” in recognition of invaluable service to society by Rotary Club of Madras Metro. The chief guest, Ms Meena Dadha, Founder – Mukti Foundation and Rtn. T. Prasanna, President, Rotary Club of Madras Metro presented the trophy to Dr Shroff.

Dr Shroff, spoke about the journey of MOHAN Foundation and how a simple “yes” to organ donation can save up to 8-9 lives.
