On 7th August, 2013 an awareness session on organ donation was organised for the staff of Mallya Hospital, Bangalore. Ms. Smeja Paul, Project Manager, MOHAN Foundation, Bangalore conducted the session and laid emphasis on the role of medical professionals in promoting deceased organ donations. There were totally 26 participants from the medical fraternity. It was an interactive session and few of the questions raised were: the importance of family knowing about our decision to donate organs and the time taken for removal and transplantation of organs.
