On 3^rd November 2023, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Ms. Sirisha, Principal, Bhashyam Blooms School,LB Nagar branch, Hyderabad to conduct a talk on organ donation for the students of Bhashyam Blooms School.  Ms. Srividya Subramanian was the key speaker.

Ms. Srividya.S started the session by asking a few introductory questions on Organ Donation and then introduced MOHAN Foundation to the participants and kept the audience engaged throughout the session. The following were discussed in detail:

• Organ donation and its need in the society
• When and how does organ donation take place
• Organs that can be donated during life and after death
• Transplant waiting list in India
• Role of MOHAN Foundation
• Eye donation

Ms. Srividya.S spoke about the future of Organ Donation in India and conducted a short quiz for the students on the subject. The students were highly enthusiastic and asked several questions. To name a few

• Xenotransplantation and its future
• How does hand transplantation occur
• Contraindications to Organ Donation
