On the eve of Diwali on November 11, 2023, an awareness session on organ donation was organized at the NAC Jewellers premises in  Kancheepuram. Mr. Surender, Store Manager mobilized the staff and welcomed the speaker Mr. Ganesh C, Marketing Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation. 

He started the session with “Donor” – short film by Director Vijay AL to inspire the audience about the cause. Then he elaborated on the concept of organ donation and transplantation, concept of brain death, availing organ through government, pledging as donor, myths & scams on organ donation and effective use of organ donation helpline 1800 103 7100. The session concluded with a short Q&A session and an employee shared his experience with corneal donation from his family.

Totally 23 participated, and everyone picked up a donor card and information brochure on organ donation to extend their support to organ donation, and promised to take this information to their dear ones. MOHAN Foundation whole heartedly extended its gratitude to NAC Jewellers for these initiatives considering the wellbeing of their employees.
