On 9th October 2023, Mrs. Praveen Mahajan, Ambassador, MOHAN Foundation, conducts awareness session on organ donation for NSS Volunteers at Mount Carmel School sector-47 Chandigarh. Around 60 NSS Volunteers attended the session. Points covered: Organ donation and its need Organs that can be donated during life and after death The transplant waiting list in India Brain death Difference between brain and coma Contradictions to organ donation Transplant law Role of MOHAN Foundation Organ donation MYTHS AND FACTS At the end, Students made ''Posters on Organ Donation'' to promote Organ Donation. Mrs Parveen Mahajan gave the vote of thanks. Mrs. Parveen Mahajan was presented with a memento by Mount Carmel School. They would love to share their wish with their families. |
