On September 08, 2023 FICCI - FLO Chennai organized a SPARK FESTIVE Ramp walk event at Savera Hotel, Mylapore.  The ramp walk was by specially abled children. On this occasion MOHAN Foundation was given an opportunity to setup an information desk to create awareness on organ donation and transplantation.

With the support of Ms. Raji Raju, Chairperson and Ms. Meera, Ms. Yamini. M (Community education executive) set up an Information Desk at  a prime spot in the hotel where the visibility is maximum. The desk had a Standee, information brochures, green ribbons and registration forms and donor cards.

Around 150 members attended the event. In that few members visited the desk and gained knowledge on Organ Donation and Transplantation and few of them picked up the Donor card.

Dr. Thamizhachi Thangapandian (Member of Parliament, Loksabha) was the chief guest for the event.  She visited the desk and enquired about MOHAN Foundations work and she shared her thoughts on Organ Donation. Ms. Yamini explained about Organ Donation registration, and about the Helpline 18001037100  service.  2 visitors registered as organ donors.
