On September 9th, 2023, Ms Arshiya Fathima of  MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session for staff of the Perambur Branch of NAC Jewellers. 20 staff participated in the talk, gathering valuable insights on the noble cause.

She distributed green ribbons and information pamphlets, providing essential information on the benefits of organ donation. Then Ms. Arshiya briefly introduced activities of MOHAN Foundation and spoke in greater detail on organ donation, brain death, circulatory death, and becoming an organ donor, and addressed myths and stigma around organ donation. Through engaging discussions, the event effectively highlighted the importance of organ donation. Approximately 20 staff participated in the talk, gathering valuable insights.

MOHAN Foundation expresses gratitude for the active involvement of all the participants and urges them to serve as advocates for the cause of organ donation and disseminate knowledge in their respective societies. The foundation also advocates for individuals to enlist as donors and have a conversation with their loved ones on the same to increase the likelihood of successful transplantation. On the whole, the event effectively enlightened and stimulated individuals regarding the significance of organ donation by debunking prevalent misconceptions.
