On August 13, 2023, Organ Donation Walkathon 2023 was held in Panjim to commemorate Indian Organ Day. The walkathon was organised in conjunction with the Indian Medical Association (Goa State) by the MOHAN Foundation. Participants were from various cycling organisations in Goa and fitness enthusiasts.

The 2.5-kilometer walkathon began at the Statue of Bhagwan Parashuram in Panjim and ended at the Campal Sports Complex.

The walkathon was kicked off by Dr. Mohan Dhumaskar, President of IMA Goa. Dr. Nilesh Talwadkar, President of IMA Tiswadi, and Dr. Amol Mahaldar, Coordinator of the Organ Donation Cell, spoke about organ failure and renal diseases in particular to the audience. They emphasised on the cause of organ donation and the need for society to support the cause. Mr. Gabriel Pereira from the MOHAN Foundation discussed the Foundation's mission, vision and awareness activities.

There were around 45 participants; all received medals for taking part in the walkathon.

12 pledges were received, and 55 flyers were given out.
