On 28^th July 2023, Mr.Bulu Behera -Transplant Coordinator- MOHAN Foundation Nagpur was invited By Dr.Sangeeta Rajput - President of Rotary club of North Nagpur ,to put an information desk on organ donation  at Center Point Hotel,Ramdashpeth.Nagpur

Mr. Behera manned the stall along with Donor cards, helpline number pamphlet, brochures, standees & banners. Information given to visitors which are given below:

• What is organ donation?
• Who can donate an organ?
• What is brain death and natural death?
• After brain death, which organs and tissues can be donated?
• After natural death, which tissues can be donated, and what are the time factors?
• What is the difference between coma and brain death?
• Is organ donation possible if the patient is in a coma?
• Information regarding body donation and eye donation
• What are the legal and ethical implications of organ donation?
• What does the Transplantation of Human Organs Act of 1994 say about organ donation?
• What is the role of NOTTO, ROTO, SOTTO, ZTCC, and the MOHAN Foundation in organ donation?
• Historical aspects of organ donation.

The session was interactive and visitors asked the following questions:

1. What is the life span after organ transplant?
2. After brain death whom to contact for organ donation?
3. Who is head of MOHAN Foundation?

Around 50 people visited the stall & 12 signed up for organ donation. Mr Bulu Behra urged the participants to check out the MOHAN Foundation website and promoted the Toll-Free Helpline Number Dr.Sangeeta thanked Bulu Behera for giving information regarding organ donation.
