On 14^th July 2023, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness talk on organ donation for the students of Keshavnanda Memorial Institute of Technology Telangana. The session was conducted in association with Rotary Club of Cantonment Secunderabad District 3150.Dr Bhanu Chandra was the key speaker.

Dr. Bhanu started the session by asking a few introductory questions on organ donation and then introduced MOHAN Foundation to the participants and kept the audience engaged throughout the session. The following were discussed in detail:

• Organ donation and its need in the society
• When and how does organ donation take place
• Organs that can be donated during life and after death
• Transplant waiting list in India
• Brain death and clinical aspects of brain death
• Difference between brain death and coma
• Role of MOHAN Foundation
• Eye donation

Nearly 200 students attended the session
