On 14^th June 2023, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Charan Thakare secretary of Vishwashanti Samajik Sanstha, Butibori, Nagpur to give a talk on organ donation for his organization’s establishment day. Organization staff and Butibori community people attended the session. Mr. Bulu Behera transplant coordinator invited to give information about organ donation, in his talk, he gave information which is given below.

Mr. Bulu gave the following information to the participants:

1. What is organ donation? Who can donate an organ?
2. What is brain death and natural death?
3. After brain death, which organs and tissues can be donated?
4. After natural death, which tissues can be donated, and what are the time factors?
5. What is the difference between coma and brain death?
6. Is organ donation possible if the patient is in a coma?
7. Live person, which organs can be donated, and what are the criteria for live donation?
8. Information regarding body donation and eye donation
9. What are the legal and ethical implications of organ donation?
10. What does the Transplantation of Human Organs Act of 1994 say about organ donation?
11. What is the role of NOTTO, ROTO, SOTTO, ZTCC, and the MOHAN Foundation in organ donation?
12. Historical aspect of organ donation.
13. What are the time factors for organ donation?

It was an interactive session and the participants asked the following questions:

• Can our organization create organ donation awareness?
• After training what are the benefits of the person?
• Is there any financial support by MOHAN Foundation to transplant patients?

In the end, Bulu Behera requested all the participants to use the Foundation's website and helpline number for any information on organ donation or for online pledging of organs. About 35 organization staff and community members presented, and 6 signed up for organ donation. MOHAN Foundation thanks to Mr. Charan Bhau Thakare for supporting the noble cause of organ donation.
