On 24^th June, 2023, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Commandant, Col Paramjeet Singh, 2 Chandigarh Battalion NCC Chandigarh, to conduct an awareness session for their N.C.C.  Cadets and J.C.Os at PGGC Sector-11, Chandigarh. The Cadets were from various School and Colleges of Chandigarh. The Cadets were very much aware about Organ Donation. Around 500 Cadets & 5 J.C.Os participated in the program.

 

Cadets & J.C.Os were given an introduction and presentation on Organ Donation and Brain Death by Ms. Neha Sharma

 

In this talk she explained the concepts of Organ Donation, Brain Death, types of donors, myths and misconceptions on organ donation, MOHAN Foundation's mission & vision, Importance of a Donor card, how one person can save many lives were covered in detail.

 

It was indeed an amazing session. All the Cadets, J.C.Os & Commandant in the session expressed their support for the noble cause.

 

At the end of the presentation Col. Paramjeet requested the cadets that we all should pledge our organs and talk to the family, friends and teachers about this noble cause.
