Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs. The district 120 had their annual conference titles as Discover 2023 at Hotel Green Park in Chennai.  MOHAN Foundation was invited to set an information desk on organ donation on May 27th & 28th, 2023 for the benefit of their 300 delegates.

MOHAN Foundation’s Ms. Arshiya Fathima H (Helpline Counselor) & Mr. Ganesh C (Marketing coordinator) set up an information desk and manned it from 10 am to 2:30 pm. Green ribbons, information brochures, registration forms, donor cards and standee were kept at the information desk. 

 Ms. Arshiya and Mr Ganesh took turns and explained the work of MOHAN Foundation and the usage of helpline number 18001037100. They were given an explanation on organ donation, voluntary body donation, eye donation, brain death, myths and how to register for a transplant. Information brochures were given to all Toastmaster’s and Trainee’s.

More than 150 people visited the information desk, and picked up information brochures and 27 extended their support towards Organ donation and picked up donor cards. MOHAN Foundation thanks, Ms Arthi and Tostmasters, Chennai for this wonderful opportunity.
