On 7th April, a rally was organised on organ donation awareness at IGGMC Nagpur for all the medical and paramedical students and staff on the occasion of world health day.  Rally started from Surgical complex moving through the OPD and Dean office and then came back to the surgical complex. Dr. Sanjay Bhijawe Dean IGGMC, Dr. Radha Munje Medical superintendent, Dr Vaishali Shelgaonkar Professor and HOD of the anesthesia department, other doctors, medical and paramedical students were present for the program. At the end of the rally, all the medical professionals took oath in support of organ donation.

Rangoli competition was organized as a part of the rally. More than 120 students participated in the rally and amongst them 5 got awarded with the certificate to appreciate them. In this session Dr. Vaishali explained about importance of organ donation.
