On 20^th April 2023, MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at Government Degree College for the nursing students of the college. Dr. Bhanu Prakash was the key speaker.

Dr. Bhanu Prakash started the session by asking a few introductory questions on Organ Donation and then introduced MOHAN Foundation to the participants and kept the audience engaged throughout the session. The following were discussed in detail:

• When and how does organ donation take place
• Organs that can be donated during life and after death
• Transplant waiting list in India
• Role of MOHAN Foundation
• Eye donation
• Brain death
• Causes of brain death
• Difference between brain death and coma
• Role of MOHAN Foundation
• Contraindications to organ donation

Close to 35 people were present in the session and highly appreciated the team.
