ICATT Foundation conducted safe CPR training program, Dr. Shalini Nalwad (Chairperson, ICATT Foundation Co-founder, Covid India campaign, Co-founder Director, ICATT Air Ambulance) invited MOHAN Foundation to put up an information desk at Bengaluru Palace Ground from 22nd January 2023. MOHAN Foundation was represented by Mr. Marulappa LN (Transplant Coordinator) and Mrs. Ranjini Shankar MS (Project Manager). The chief guest for the program: Sri. Basavaraj Somappa Bommai (Chief Minister of Karnataka) who inaugurated the session. The trainees for the event were as follows: 1. Dr. Shalini Nalwad (Chairperson, ICATT Foundation Co-founder, Covid India campaign, Co-founder Director, ICATT Air Ambulance) 2. Dr. Naga Nischal (Head of clinical services, Cloud nine group of hospitals, SEMI- President (Karnataka) Ms. Ranjini Shankar and Mr. Marulappa LN set up at information kiosk with MOHAN Foundation’s standee, flyers, placards, pledge forms and donor cards. Senior citizens and general public of Serene Urbana Apartment attended this programme. Mrs. Ranjini Shankar and Mr. Marulappa addressed the visitors and clarified all their queries to name a few:
They appealed and motivated the visitors to pledge for organ donation Several students, engineers, doctors were a part of the audience. Close to 690 people were sensitized through the information centre out of which 77 people pledged for organ donation by signing the donor card. We express our gratitude to Dr. Shalini Nalwad (Chairperson, ICATT Foundation Co-founder, Covid India campaign, Co-founder Director, ICATT Air Ambulance) for inviting MOHAN Foundation and giving MOHAN Foundation an opportunity to set up an information kiosk on organ donation this will surely go a long way in promoting deceased organ donation. |
