On 4^th November 2022, Mrs. Praveen Mahajan, Ambassador, MOHAN Foundation organised awareness talk on Organ Donation for the Staff of Red Cross Society Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Secretary of Red Cross Shimla also attended the session. Around 50 staff members attended the session.

In this talk, she explained the following points: -

• Organ donation and its need
• When and how does organ donation take place
• Organs that can be donated during life and after death
• The transplant waiting list in India
• Brain death
• Difference between brain and coma
• Contradictions to organ donation
• Transplant law
• Role of MOHAN Foundation
• Organ donation myths and facts

At the end, Mrs. Praveen Mahajan gave the vote of thanks. All of them took the donor Cards. They would love to share their wish with their families. All the questions were answered after the presentation.
