On October 10, 2022, MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for the staff at MattsenKumar (MK) LLC. Mr. Sultan Ashraf, Manager Corporate, MK LLC, reached out to Dr. Muneet Kaur Sahi, Programme Manager, MOHAN Foundation, who had already conducted an online awareness session on October 12, 2021, for the staff of MK LLC and requested that Dr Muneet schedule offline sessions on the same day and time in three different MK locations, namely Gurugram, Jaipur, and Bengaluru.

Dr. Muneet then coordinated with the Foundation’s representatives at Bengaluru and Jaipur. The Centre heads of these offices readily agreed to conduct the session on the same day and time. Ms. Ranjini Shankar MS, Project Manager, MOHAN Foundation accompanied by Mr. Marulappa LN, Transplant Coordinator and MOHAN Foundation conducted the talk at MK Bengaluru.

On 10^th October 2022. MOHAN Foundation conducted an awareness session on Organ Donation at MK office, Bengaluru. Mrs. Ranjini Shankar was the key resource.

Mrs. Ranjini Shankar MS, initiated the session by introducing MOHAN Foundation, its mission, vision and kept the audience engaged throughout the session. The following concepts were explained in detail.

• Concepts of organ and tissue donation,
• The types of death i.e., cardiac death and brain death
•  Brain Death and declaration concept
•  Procedure of deceased organ donation and live organ donation.
• Procedure of tissue donation
• Barriers in the process of organ donation
• Myths and facts related to organ donation and its impact on the society
• Importance of Donor card

Mrs. Ranjini Shankar MS gave a brief insight into MOHAN Foundation courses and motivated the staff to pledge for organ donation

Around 35 members attended the session. 24 of them supported the cause by taking the pledge for organ donation.
